A good cotton soft towel depends on the raw materials, netting method and weight of the product.
raw material
The cotton soft towel is cut from the spunlaced non-woven fabric. The spunlaced non-woven fabric can be divided into the following types according to the composition of raw materials:
100% cotton fiber
viscose fiber (also known as plant fiber)
viscose polyester blended material
polyester
100% cotton fiber and viscose fiber are natural raw materials and can be degraded
In terms of raw materials, the cotton fiber is better and softer to the skin. From the processed cotton soft towel, the viscose fiber is more tenacious and should not be broken. Both of them are cellulose fibers, so the results of their combustion are the same. Both of them have no black smoke, no odor, and burn to ashes. If you want to distinguish it, it usually needs to be tested by a professional organization.
Polyester or cotton soft wipes mixed with polyester have poor water absorption capacity, which will affect the use. Generally, polyester is the main component of wet wipes.
It can be distinguished by combustion. When synthetic fiber burns, it will burst sparks, emit black smoke, have pungent taste or produce drops. The residual after burning is a relatively hard black block.
Networking mode
The high-pressure Spunlaced non-woven fabric process is adopted for the cotton soft towel, and its netting method determines the strength and toughness of the cotton soft towel. There are two netting methods:
directly laid into a net
cross networking
The cotton soft towel paved into a net is easy to break when used. Its vertical and horizontal strength difference is large, its horizontal strength is small, and it is torn into strips longitudinally, so its toughness is poor.
The soft cotton towel with a cross net is not easy to break when used. Its vertical and horizontal strength difference is small. Basically, it is not rotten in vertical and horizontal pulling, so it has good toughness.
Gram weight
Gram weight refers to the weight of each square meter of non-woven fabric.
The higher the weight, the better the quality.
The weight of cotton soft towel is between 35g-75g, and generally it is OK if it exceeds 45g.
These are the core factors that determine the quality of soft cotton towels.
